John Eustace insists that Blackburn Rovers have not made any formal decisions about recalling loan players in January.
The club currently has three first-team players playing in the English Football League. They have had varied fortunes during the first half of the season.
Dilan Markanday has greatly benefited from his prominent role at Chesterfield. He’s scored seven goals, and Rovers must decide whether he can contribute at Ewood Park or whether his development is best served by attempting to get promotion with the Spireites.

Jake Garrett has struggled for minutes at Bristol Rovers, although they have recently fired manager Matt Taylor. A new head coach has yet to be chosen, although it might influence the course of his loan.
However, Connor O’Riordan has made only a few appearances for Cambridge United. It seems inevitable that he will return to Ewood Park with the intention of sending him out again in January.
“We haven’t made any decisions on those who are out at the minute, some are playing, some aren’t,” Eustace informed the crowd.
“We will have those discussions within the next few weeks. When you go on loan, you have to earn the right to play and enjoy the good times while also dealing with the bad.
“I understand that a few players have left and would have liked to have played more, but that is part of their development. “We’ll see where they are when they get back.”
