Davie Martindale’s Livingston is expected to defeat Ayr United at Evens in the Championship. Scott Brown’s Raith Rovers and Livingston are the only teams to have defeated Falkirk this season. However, Falkirk’s home form has not translated to the road, and Livi have a 6-2-0 record at Almondvale.

Livingston is the only team to have won in the league at Ayr this season, with a 3-0 triumph at Airdrie last week extending their undefeated league record to six matches and eight in total. They also won the 3/1 Saturday Single at home five weeks ago against Falkirk.

Martindale has unearthed a Championship gem in the shape of former St Johnstone and Aberdeen striker Stevie May. While Ayr tails will be up after dumping Falkirk, I’m backing the Lions to surge to win and keep Falkirk in sight.

Last Saturday, BLACKBURN won at 23/20 over Luton. Today, Jon Eustace’s team can make it seven consecutive league wins against Millwall.

Rovers have gone five games without conceding since winning 3-1 against Cardiff at the start of their winning run. Their defensive resolve can see them inflict a fourth consecutive loss on faltering Millwall at a value of 11/5.

Rangers flop.Todd Cantwell returns to Ewood Park following a suspension. Millwall is missing Neil Harris and will face Rovers keeper Aynsley Pears, who is expected to hold their forwards at bay.

SUNDERLAND can maintain their automatic promotion chances by defeating Norwich at 4/5, but league leaders Sheffield United should back away to Cardiff at Evens.

The Black Cats may struggle at times, but they are capable of defeating the Canaries. The Blades are unbeaten in 10 meetings against Cardiff, who have not won in 7 games. The Championship treble is available at over 10/1 odds.

WIGAN halted Bolton’s undefeated run with a win last weekend, and Shaun Maloney’s team can build on that with a home win over bottom club Shrewsbury at a consensus 7/10.
