“Happy to sign” – Town youngster pens first professional deal.
Nelson Eze, a first-year scholar in the Ipswich Town academy, has signed his first professional contract with the club, which is for three years.
The 17-year-old is a dynamic player who joined the Blues from Norwich City last year and will become a full-time academy player at Playford Road this summer.
Eze, who stands 6ft 6in tall, can play as a center midfielder, number 10, or central striker.
He has primarily played for Town U18s this season, including their FA Youth Cup loss to Bournemouth earlier this month.
