After dropping points over the weekend, Leeds United is now three points behind Sheffield United. With January approaching, both teams should be aiming to strengthen their rosters in order to solidify their positions.
Despite their late tie against Preston, Leeds is still in the top two, but Burnley’s comeback victory over Norwich City has reduced the margin behind them to just one point.
As they take on three challenging games in 2024, Leeds will be hoping to close the gap with the team below them once more while simultaneously applying pressure to Sheffield United.
