KVVU/Gray News, Las Vegas, Nevada Details of a Las Vegas Raiders player’s DUI arrest are revealed in an arrest report from the city’s police.
Charles Snowden, a defensive end with the Las Vegas Raiders, was arrested, according to an arrest report that KVVU received.
According to court documents, Snowden is charged with a misdemeanour of driving while intoxicated.
Snowden was discovered on Monday close to Rainbow Boulevard and Sunset Road, according to the police.
Reports of a suspicious car prompted police to respond. Officers found a man who seemed to be sleeping inside the locked car when they arrived.
According to the arrest report, the man, later identified as Snowden, would wake up and then fall back asleep without noticing officers.
After about 10 minutes of knocking, the driver woke up again, turned off the car and exited.
Police say Snowden was unsteady on his feet and had to be held up. Police also noticed an unknown smell of an alcohol beverage.
The athlete is anticipated to enter a not guilty plea, according to Snowden’s defence lawyers.
“We will respond in court, which is the proper forum, and Mr. Snowden will be entering a not guilty plea,” said lawyers Richard Schonfeld and David Chesnoff.

The Raiders have communicated with local authorities and the NFL on the Charles Snowden incident. Since this is a legal situation, the club will not comment further.
On Tuesday, Snowden is anticipated to appear in court.
