After grabbing the lead after the opening forty-five minutes and twice overcoming deficits to tie the score, the Gers would have felt unlucky to leave empty-handed.
“However, the degree of improvement in the last two games—the Spurs game and yesterday’s game—is definitely noticeable.
“So, as disappointed as they’ll be, and they will be, I’m very disappointed myself, I’ve got to say, the upturn in form in the last two games, hopefully, is really encouraging.”
Celtic’s supporters were extremely proud of their team’s most recent cup victory, which increased their trophy total to 119, one more than their most formidable opponents.
