A Sheffield crash has left a woman, 60, badly injured

A 60-year-old woman was rushed to hospital following a car accident in Sheffield.

The collision occurred on Stradbroke Road in Woodhouse, between Southsea Road and Bishop Gardens, before 12.33pm today (Friday, December 13). South Yorkshire police have closed the road. The force advised vehicles to ‘avoid the area’ and plan an alternate route as cops dealt with the situation.
A Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokesperson stated: “We received an emergency call at 12.33pm today to report a road traffic incident involving two vehicles on Stradbroke Road in Sheffield. An ambulance was sent to the location, and one patient was taken to Northern General Hospital.
