Aston Villa man will sign new contract ‘by end of year’ – Emery and Villans betting on him

Meczyki in Poland claims that goalie Oliwier Zych will receive a new contract offer from Aston Villa.

In 2020, the Premier League team recruited the 20-year-old from Zagłębie Lubin, a Polish team, for their academy.

Despite rising through the ranks over the years, Zych has yet to make his Aston Villa debut.

The goalkeeper was loaned to Puszcza Niepołomice by the Villans last season, when he played in 26 games and gave up 35 goals while keeping seven clean sheets.

Zych’s performances persuaded Michał Probierz, the manager of Poland, to select him in the Euro team. Unfortunately, the Aston Villa player sustained an injury and returned to Villa Park in the summer, so that was blocked.

Zych has been in Unai Emery’s squad a couple times this season, but he hasn’t played a minute.

According to reports, the manager believes the Poland U21 international is a “talented player” who may contend for the top slot in the future. The new contract that the athlete will sign “soon” serves as evidence of this.
