5 things to watch when the Cowboys play the Panthers

1. THE RESTLESS AND THE YOUNG

Bryce Young, a second-year quarterback, has revitalized the Panthers’ offense after being benched early in the season. Defenses are pursuing him in the hopes that he will make a mistake because since he returned to the lineup, he has been hit by the most percentage of blitzes. However, NextGenStats shows that his pressure-to-sack rate is only 10.4%, which is the fifth-lowest in the league during that time frame, so they aren’t getting to him. Under pressure, he is averaging 7.9 yards per attempt, while the Cowboys defense allows the third-highest amount of yards per attempt in the NFL, 7.6 yards per attempt. That might be an issue.
