Lincoln City boss Michael Skubala has claimed that Sheffield Wednesday are pleased with Bailey Cadamarteri’s loan spell with the League One side.
The 19-year-old signed a season-long loan with the Imps in the summer and has made 16 appearances in the third tier thus far.
The teenager has scored three goals, and Skubala’s side is in contention for a play-off spot as the season nears its halfway point.
Cadamarteri scored his sixth goal in all competitions midweek, beating Morecambe 1-0 in the EFL Trophy second round.

Sheffield Wednesday’s Bailey Cadamarteri stance
Skubala lauded Cadamarteri’s progress since joining the team at the beginning of the season.
He claims that he has discussed his development with Sheffield Wednesday, and that his parent club is delighted with his performance.
“Like all the players that are fighting for minutes he will want more, but he’s progressing well, we’re seeing improvements in his game all the time,” said Skubala, as reported by the BBC.
“He has an excellent eye for goal and scored again against Morecambe, but his whole game may be improved.
“Sometimes, as Danny Röhl says, they come to be loaned and develop, but part of that is trying to get into the team, competing with older experienced players, and I believe he’s battling for his place just like any other player.
“But his attitude is terrific, his work ethic is fantastic, and his parent club, Sheffield Wednesday, is really pleased because he’s improving in all areas of his game.
“If he keeps growing he’s growing he’s going to be a really good player hopefully for us in the future, but also for Sheffield Wednesday.”
Clear why Sheffield Wednesday are pleased with Bailey Cadamarteri’s loan spell
Cadamarteri is making good progress with Lincoln, which gives the Owls every cause to be delighted.
The forward has a lot of promise and is already making an impact for a squad that is near the top of League One.
While Rohl may believe he isn’t quite ready for the Championship right now, this loan term will be extremely beneficial in preparing him for life in the second division with Sheffield Wednesday.
This is exactly what Rohl expected when this deal was agreed upon in the summer, since Cadamarteri is getting lots of game time and growing as he acquires more experience.
