Everton told to sell ‘unhappy’ Beto within weeks after transfer request
Torino has designated Beto as their priority signing, according to a report by La Stampa via Tutto Mercato Web [9 December]. The 26-year-old was put up for sale after demanding to be sold in January.
Without a doubt, Kevin Thelwell will be prepared to let the 26-year-old go. But any January deal would need to be a permanent departure rather than a loan with a buyout clause, according to Tuttosport [10 December].
Bryan King, a former Goodison scout, says it’s common knowledge that Beto is unhappy on Merseyside in an exclusive interview with Goodison News.
“Beto at Everton seems to have a long way to go,” King remarked.
“You don’t want disgruntled players near a football team. Beto has the chance to take advantage of this lending opportunity with a buyout option. Both the player and Everton seem to benefit from it.
As a result, the player must move on and the club must accept it. He is definitely dissatisfied since you wouldn’t be requesting to leave a football club if you were pleased there, would you?
Everton striker Beto to quit Goodison Park in January?
Beto’s future seems to be somewhere else than Goodison Park.
He has only scored once in the Premier League this season and hasn’t played much. It is therefore not unexpected that he is eager to start over.
Sean Dyche, nevertheless, needs to determine if his team has enough players to cover Beto’s absence.
