Match Highlights – Plymouth Argyle 1 Swansea City 2

Swansea City defeated Plymouth Argyle 2-1 thanks to goals from Jay Fulton and Liam Cullen, extending their winning streak to four games.

Just before halftime at Home Park, Fulton scored his first goal of the season with composure after a poor clearing fell at his feet.

Cullen, who has now contributed five goals in as many games, increased the advantage close to the hour mark after Myles Peart-Harris’ accurate low cross.

The Swans had chances to increase their lead, but Mustapha Bundu’s comeback for Plymouth created some stressful

moments. Swansea managed to hold steady and win all three points in spite of the late pressure, and Luke Williams

was pleased with both aspects of his team’s performance.

The victory puts Luke Williams’ team back in the top 10 of the Championship going into midweek games.

Williams made three changes to the starting lineup from the Luton draw: Gonçalo Franco, Ronald, and Žan Vipotnik were benched, and Fulton, Jisung Eom, and Florian Bianchini were added.

Sunderland, who will visit Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday, is the Swans’ next opponent.
