Reading FC manager on ‘honour’ of new role and Selles talk
Noel Hunt, the new manager of Reading, has expressed his delight and honour at being appointed permanent manager after Ruben Selles left.
The Spaniard, who was well-liked by the fans, left the team to join sixth-place Hull City.
Legendary as a player, Hunt has excelled with the team’s Academy and served as interim manager for a short five
games after Paul Ince left in 2022.
The former Republic of Ireland international, who was hired on a two-and-a-half-year contract, managed Saturday’s
1-1 draw against league leaders Wycombe Wanderers.
