Rangers eye move for ‘quality’ Dutch talent who’s open to leaving Eredivisie.

Both Rangers loan players, Neraysho Kasanwirjo and Vaclav Cerny, have made an early mark this season.

The Dutch defender has been sidelined for up to six months due to a significant knee injury sustained during international duty. He has returned to Feyenoord to undergo rehabilitation.

It means he may not play again for Gers this season following only 12 appearances during his loan from the Eredivisie side.

But what happens next?

Rangers still have the option to permanently sign the 22-year-old from Glasgow as part of the loan agreement, despite his injury.

The answer to that question is yes, according to The Daily Mail.

Philippe Clement praised the versatility of the Netherlands under-21s standout, who has played as a right-back, center-half, and left-back.

Kasanwirjo had pushed ahead of captain James Tavernier at times, and the club was optimistic about his potential to become a regular starter.

As a result, they are not ruling out a permanent agreement and will not abandon their option to buy.

Oppen was engaged in the signing and knew Kasanwirjo from their time in the Netherlands.

The athlete discussed his own future after impressing in some early games and dazzling for his country’s under-21s, recording two assists in one game.

He expressed interest in a permanent stay with the Rangers.

Kasanwirjo stated, “I was well received in Scotland,” as reported by Voetbal Primuer. “The coach is direct, which is exactly what I need.

“What about Feyenoord next year? “Who knows…?”
