The Las Vegas Raiders are officially out of playoff contention following their loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. While the team has many issues to address throughout the upcoming offseason, there are some bright spots on the roster.
According to Tom Pelissero, the Raiders have added running back Sincere McCormick to the active roster, moving him up from the practice squad. McCormick carried for 64 yards last week and appeared to be the best option at the position moving forward. McCormick, a rookie, has played three games this season and rushed for 97 yards on 17 carries.
He was lifted for the first time two weeks ago against the Denver Broncos, and he carried for 33 yards. During his time at UTSA, he carried for 3,929 yards and 34 touchdowns.
McCormick has become a fan favorite since being added to the active roster, and the Raider Nation has high hopes for him this season.
With a top-five draft pick in 2025, the Raiders should be stocked with young talent for the upcoming season. It will be intriguing to watch what he can achieve with the team next year, ideally with a winning mindset.
