Blackburn Rovers are off to a good start in the Championship season under new manager John Eustace.
Blackburn Rovers have won three consecutive games against Cardiff City, Middlesbrough, and Leeds United.
The Lancashire side is now in eighth place in the Championship table, only two points behind the play-offs.
This weekend, they will play an away game against Hull City at MKM Stadium. In the meantime, here are three of their players who may attract interest in January.
Tyrys Dolan
Dolan’s contract with Blackburn Rovers expires at the end of the season, and he will become a free agent in June 2025. They risk losing him for nothing next year if they don’t cash in on him next month or agree on terms for an extension.
The 22-year-old joins his current club in 2020, having previously played for Manchester City, Burnley, and Preston North End. He has since made 180 appearances in all competitions, 16 of which have occurred this season, scoring 21 goals and assisting 18 times.
According to the official club website, he stated after the win over Leeds United that the results demonstrated the team’s quality. We are known for our hard effort as well as our quality. Everyone is putting in their best effort and running for each other and the manager because it is a family out there.
“It all depends on how hard you work. We don’t have what Leeds and the top teams in the Championship have, but we have the hard work, and it shows when we get over the line, like it showed against Leeds.”
Igor Tyjon
The 16-year-old has a promising future in the sport. He has been on the bench so far this season and is highly regarded.
He joined Ewood Park from Rochdale in 2023, and his current club will do well to keep him for the next few years. According to The Sun, Manchester United had expressed interest in the adolescent during the last transfer window.
Harry Leonard
The striker was out of action for the majority of 2024 due to injury, but he is finally available. However, his chances of making the first team are minimal at the present.
A probable loan exit this winter would allow him to acquire more regular game time, which he requires at this point in his career. He has played 27 matches for Blackburn Rovers and scored 5 goals.
