SWANS BOSS WILLIAMS PLEASED BY “BRIGHT” RETURN FOR JISUNG EOM

JISUNG EOM’S “BRIGHT” RETURN PLEASES SWANS BOSS WILLIAMS

Luke Williams was happy to see Jisung Eom recover from his injury against Portsmouth and thinks the South Korea international’s return will help Swansea City’s team in time for the hectic holiday season.

After missing the last 25 minutes of the 2-2 draw with Pompey due to a knee injury sustained while on international duty in October, Eom returned to the pitch.

He was engaged in creating an opportunity right away, but he missed the mark as he got to the box to meet a cutback.

As they get ready for a busy schedule of games over Christmas and into the New Year, Williams was also encouraged to see the offensive midfielder make an impact.

The Swansea head coach remarked, “I thought Jisung looked really bright and lively when he came on.”

“We are thrilled to have him back; he undoubtedly strengthens our team.

Therefore, his return is very welcome news. The first game back is usually a little nerve-racking when you put somebody back in, but we got him through it.

“He has performed admirably, and having him back on the scene has strengthened us.”
