Wolves went back to losing ways in the Premier League on Saturday, falling at home to Bournemouth 4-2.
Gary O’Neil’s team was easily overcome in the end, but they gave the Cherries their goals on a difficult afternoon.
At one point, Bournemouth fans chanted at O’Neil, demanding for the score, and some Wolves fans joined in.
Many Wolves fans now want Fosun to fire O’Neil, although he’ll most likely get the Everton game next Wednesday.
Some chastised O’Neil for his lineup selection against Bournemouth, as he continued to play Mario Lemina at centre-back.
Lee Naylor has now questioned why O’Neil did not move the captain out of the backline following a difficult start to the game.
Naylor stunned by O’Neil’s management of Mario Lemina v Bournemouth
After Wolves defeated Fulham 4-1, there was a lot of appreciation for Lemina and Toti Gomes.
But they were all over the place against Bournemouth. They failed to deal with a high ball in the first few minutes, resulting in Toti bringing Evanilson down for the first penalty.
