Plans revealed to build three homes in Stonham Aspal

Plans to construct three houses in a Suffolk community have been made public by a developer.

The Mid Suffolk District Council has received proposals from Stacey Marie Homes Ltd. to construct three residences on property located at Mill Green Farm, Debenham Road, Stonham Aspal, close to Stowmarket.

A former piggery barn that was already there would be dismantled.

There would be four bedrooms in one of the properties and three bedrooms in the other two.

A shared driveway off Debenham Road would provide access to the complex.

“The proposal is a wholly deliverable prospect, making effective use of land, without undue harms,” according to a planning summary.

“The scheme is robustly supported at a local and national level offering a sustainable scheme which is heavily aligned to local and national planning policies.”

The ideas include a list of several sustainable measures.

An air source heat pump would be installed on each property, and the house plans would also incorporate solar panels.

“Minimise environmental impact” was the design and access statement’s claim.
