QPR’s relegation rivals Hull City are in the hunt for a new manager after Tim Walter was sacked earlier this week
Former Fulham, Sheffield United, and Watford manager Slavisa Jokanovic has reportedly traveled to London to discuss the managerial post at Championship strugglers Hull City.
Tim Walter was fired by Queens Park Rangers and Millwall’s Championship opponents on Wednesday after the Tigers lost 2-0 at home to Sheffield Wednesday, putting them in the relegation zone. The German was only in charge for 17 games and has characterized his spell in East Yorkshire as the most difficult of his managerial career.
According to journalist Alan Biggs, Jokanovic was supposed to meet with Hull owner Acun Ilicali for negotiations in London on Thursday. Jokanovic has managed 168 Championship games for the Blades, Fulham, and the Hornets. He’s won 80 of those games, drawn 43, and lost 45. Former Chelsea midfielder spent 36 games in charge of Watford and 22 with Sheffield United.
