Truro City manager John Askey says it is “still early days” despite his team being top of National League South.
The Tinners lead Weston-super-Mare thanks to a better goal difference ahead of a difficult trip to fifth-placed Dorking Wanderers on Saturday.
The side relegated from the National League last season inflicted one of just four league losses on Truro this season when they won 2-1 on the opening day and come into the game having won 7-1 at Hemel Hempstead on Monday.
“It’s obviously better to be in that position than any other,” Askey told BBC radio Cornwall.
