IT’s fair to say Club Brugge fans have won over one half of Glasgow tonight.

And it doesn’t take a genius to guess which side!

Thousands of Belgian fans travelled over to Scotland this week to watch their team battle it out with Celtic at Parkhead.

They chanted and cheered for their team throughout the 90 minutes in Glasgow.

But they were signing songs of another team when they were en route to the stadium in the East End.

Many supporters were filmed marching through the city before kick-off and they were heard in loud voice on their way to the game.

But instead of just belting out their own anthems, the travelling fans were heard singing Rangers songs at one point too.

Videos which have been widely shared on social media show the moment the away supporters belted out the lyrics “we love you Rangers, we do” while on their way to the venue.

The bizarre moment was captured by onlookers and it’s no surprise they’ve won over some new fans in Glasgow.

One Rangers fan wrote on social media: “I guess I’ve now got a favourite Belgium team.”

Another said: “Got to love the fact Brugge fans are singing about us on their way to the game.”

Their Rangers love affair didn’t just stop when they got to the stadium though.

One punter was even spotted holding a Union Jack flag during the game.

Rangers and Club Brugge supporters have close ties to one other these days given the history of the Light Blues manager and his assistant.

Philippe Clement was a favourite among the Belgian fanbase during his stints as a player and manager, having won the league title twice both on the pitch and in the dugout.

Stephan Van Der Heyden left Brugge before Clement arrived in 1999 but he also won two titles, two Belgian Cups and two Supercups during his time in the capital.
