Leeds make move to sign James McAtee in ‘huge signing’ from Man City
According to CaughtOffside, the Whites have already launched a “bold attempt” to recruit the 22-year-old midfielder, with interest from West Ham, Celtic, Lille, and Feyenoord ahead of the summer window.
It is claimed that Manchester City would be willing to sell McAtee for a cost that may top £20 million, which is why Robinson believes a loan deal is far more likely.
Robinson told MOT Leeds News: “Massively. He’d be a fantastic addition for Leeds, but I don’t believe they’ll get him. West Ham and Fulham are among the other teams interested in signing him. Several Premier League teams are taking a look.
“Leeds have thrown their hat in the ring, and I believe it would be an excellent signing. If they can pull it off, it will be a huge coup. I don’t see it as a permanent signing in January. It is more likely to be a loan.
