Sint Truiden travel to Club Brugge on Saturday afternoon looking to prolong a four game unbeaten run against the 19 times Belgian champions. Last season the side drew 1-1 in Brugge before winning 2-1 back at home. However, they are facing a Club side that have won four of their last five games and are unbeaten in six. Yet the Canaries may hope to catch Club out ahead of the sides important Champions League clash with Celtic on the 27th of November.

 

The home side are currently third in the table, having won seven, drawn four and lost three of their opening 14 games. The side are six points off of leaders Genk.

At home, Club have not been as good as in recent years. Their home form would see them sitting in 11th place, with just three wins in six games, 10 goals scored and seven conceded. Hans Vanaken, as always, remains key, with four goals and four assists in 14 Pro League games this season.

The side should be able to call upon summer signing Gustaf Nilsson, who has three goals this season.

Despite a terrible start to the season, Sint Truiden have begun to turn things around under head coach Felice Mazzu. The side have won three of their last five and have one of the inform strikers in the league in Adriano Bertaccini, who has eight goals this season. However, the side will be without experienced defender Shogo Taniguchi, who is out for the season.

Sint Truiden have only won once away from home, with two draws and four defeats in seven games on the road. They have scored nine goals and conceded 14.
