Southampton might be an option for Real Madrid’s Endrick in the winter transfer window.
According to Sport, Southampton, AS Roma, and Real Valladolid are among the clubs interested in the 18-year-old player.
The striker joined the La Liga club in the summer and has signed a contract with Palmeiras until December 2022. He played 122 minutes across 10 games, scoring two goals and providing an assist.
Several clubs have approached Los Blancos to inquire about the Brazilian international. According to Sport, he may be ready to ‘pack his bags’ and transfer to the Premier League, where Southampton is reportedly interested.
Russell Martin’s team may face competition from Serie A clubs and Real Valladolid, as all three are eager to provide him minutes.
Claudio Ranieri, the new Roma manager, has demanded a youthful attacker, and Endrick meets those requirements. Real Valladolid has contacted the youngster in an attempt to persuade him that he may play regularly for them.
Endrick must decide whether to leave Real Madrid in January or next summer if he does not play consistently.
At the weekend, Fichajes.net first reported Southampton’s interest in Endrick.
Sport has not indicated definitely whether they are backing up this assertion or simply transmitting previously reported information. It’s interesting that they haven’t ruled out the Saints as an option for the South American.
