“Not out of the question” – Player hints he could be at Celtic next season, not ruling it out
Last season, Celtics manager Brendan Rodgers didn’t use Gustaf Lagerbielke frequently, as he only played 576 minutes in 10 games.
Celtic gave the center-back permission to sign a loan with FC Twente during the summer transfer window.
Malmö FF also sought the Sweden international, but he turned them down in favor of the Dutch team. He has made six appearances for Twente in all competitions.
Sweden manager Jon Dahl Tomasson called up the 24-year-old on Sunday to take Isak Hien’s position, who was injured. The Celtic player expressed his happiness at being able to rejoin the national team squad to Footballskanalen.
