Celtic star Liam Scales endures Wembley nightmare as red card proves turning point as Rep of Ireland THRASHED by England
Scales has appeared 17 times at the heart of Brendan Rodgers’ defence this season.
The Hoops have only concede THREE league goals so far across 10 games.
And Scales has built up a formidable relationship with new boy Auston Trusty who was signed in the summer from Sheffield United.
But with Cameron Carter-Vickers recently returning from injury, he has given his manager a headache with team selections.

Scales was benched in the 3-1 victory over RB Leipzig at Parkhead but retook his starting spot at Rugby Park last weekend.
But he has not continued his fine form while on international duty with Ireland during their Nations League game against England.
The Dublin born defender was shown a yellow card just before half-time as his side were deadlocked at 0-0 after the first 45 minutes.
He stopped England from taking a quick free kick, something that the referee did not like.
