Another arrest warrant was handed to the detained Milan ultra chief, Lucian Lucci, who was “close to the Ndrangheta gang that imported drugs.”

On Monday, a second arrest warrant on narcotics allegations connected to the Calabrian ‘Ndrangheta mafia was served to an AC Milan ultra chief who was arrested at the end of September in connection with an investigation into suspected mafia-style extortion at the San Siro.
The warrant was issued to Luca Lucci as part of a DDA anti-mafia office investigation into an association reportedly connected to the Barbaro ‘Ndrangheta gang that allegedly “imported and distributed” “over 2 tons of narcotics” between Lombardy and Calabria, according to police.

In a massive operation against suspected clans of AC Milan and inter millan ultra fans, Milan police made dozens of arrests and seized numerous items on September 30. The charges included extortion, causing physical injury, and Mafia-style criminal association.Investigative sources said the individuals are ‘ultra’ fan leaders of Milan’s two football clubs who are reportedly involved in soccer-related companies.

According to investigators, the ultra chieftains, among other things, controlled the sale of drinks and merchandise at Milan’s Giuseppe Meazza (San Siro) stadium, imposed monthly payments on parking spots, resold Inter and Milan match tickets at exorbitant prices, served as celebrity bodyguards, and participated in punitive expeditions and fights.
