The news was revealed in a post on Leeds’ official website on Thursday, November 7th.

Ao Tanaka plays an important part for Leeds United.

The Japanese international has been an important component of Daniel Farke’s team, and the German will be hopeful he returns from international duty uninjured.

Tanaka has appeared in 11 league games with the Whites, starting seven of them, and has impressed in each one.

Tanaka has been Leeds’ finest midfielder in the absence of injured Ethan Ampadu, who is expected to return to action ahead of schedule. He has also helped the Whites narrow the distance on league leaders Sunderland.

He delivered an outstanding performance, particularly against Plymouth. According to FotMob, the player had a stunning 91% pass accuracy out of 116 attempts.
