Ally McCoist sends Celtic-RB Leipzig Champions League reminder after ‘not scared’ of Celtic claim

Celtic have the chance to make another statement in the Champions League ahead of their clash against RB Leipzig on Tuesday night.

Brendan Rodgers’ side have four points from their opening three matches, and in truth, fans probably would have accepted that before a ball was kicked.

The only issue is how Celtic lost away at Borussia Dortmund, but the response from the players was beyond what many expected.

Atalanta are going strong in Serie A, added to the fact that the Europa League winners are the top goalscorers in Italy, so in that aspect, the Bhoys were supposed to be in for a difficult night in Bergamo.

But Celtic recorded a draw against Atalanta by producing a defensive masterclass and lifting the mood amongst the fans once again.

The champions face a RB Leipzig side who were in Pot 1 before a ball was kicked, but they have lost all three opening European games and also lost in the Bundesliga for the first time at the weekend.

Ahead of the game, talkSPORT had European football expert and Bundesliga commentator Kevin Hatchard on to preview Tuesday night’s Champions League matches.
