Celtic ace Nico Kuhn has apparently been touted as a potential Brentford transfer target.
Earlier this week, the German winger, 24, was tipped as a potential Premier League star of the future, with numerous clubs keeping an eye on his performances. According to The Boot Room, Brentford could be forced to enter the trade market in January if important player Bryan Mbeumo leaves. Mbeumo, a Cameroon international, has a remarkable eight Premier League goals this season and is reported to have piqued the interest of a number of scouts.
TBR claims that the London club is interested in Kuhn, but Celtic have no plans to trade the player, who signed a five-year contract in January. Brendan Rodgers will not want to lose the former Germany under-21, especially since he has emerged as an important player in recent months. Celtic signed Kuhn for around £3 million when he left Rapid Vienna, but they’d make a tidy profit if they decided to discuss a prospective move if Brentford’s interest grows stronger.
