The January transfer window is quickly approaching, and Sunderland has already been the subject of much conjecture.
Several transfer rumours have already emerged, with Sunderland linked with a few of incoming transfers as January approaches.
Indeed, Sunderland veteran Julio Arca has commented on reports linking Jordan Henderson with an emotional homecoming to the Stadium of Light.
“I haven’t seen Jordan play much recently or know what level he is at, but he is a local who has gone on to perform quite well. He accomplished well for the club when he was here, and he can provide valuable experience to Sunderland’s younger players.
“It’s beneficial to have experienced guys like that because, even if they don’t play all the time, they can assist in the locker room and during specific games. Some would argue that Jordan cannot participate in every game, but he can provide much more than just his football skills.
