Forever Green Christmas Lunch 2024

We’re envisioning a Forever Green holiday season, so feel free to retain your white Christmases.

On Thursday, December 12, we will have a very special Christmas lunch and get-together in Club Argyle with players and fans just like the ones we used to know.

Many of the former players have been invited to join us for the afternoon, and they will all sit at a table with Green Army members to have a delicious two-course meal.

In addition to enjoying the lunch, we will talk to some of the players there, watch old footage of the holiday fixtures on screens throughout the room, and more in the afternoon. There will be Christmas crackers on the tables in addition to goals on the screen. Which former Pilgrim will look the best in a paper hat?

The day will end at 3.30 p.m., with doors opening at 11.30 a.m. The traditional Christmas fare of turkey breast, gammon ham, pigs in blankets, sage and onion stuffing and other trimmings will be served for lunch. Our second entrée is brandy-sauced plum Christmas pudding.

Gluten-free and vegan options will be available. Tea and coffee will also be served. The bar will be open.
