Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco expected to return in late November
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Chiefs could be getting an important piece of their offense back at the end of the month.
According to reports, the Chiefs are eyeing a late November return for starting running back Isiah Pacheco.
Pacheco fractured his fibula in Week 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals and has missed the last six weeks. He could return to practice in the next two to three weeks.
The Chiefs’ rushing attack has remained steady in Pacheco’s absence with Kareem Hunt filling in admirably. Hunt has 84 carries for 308 yards and four touchdowns in four games
With Pacheco’s return looming, he and Hunt have the opportunity to form a dangerous backfield duo in the second half of the season.
Pacheco has led the Chiefs in rushing the last two seasons. He had 34 carries for 135 yards and one touchdown before the injury. He gives a boost to a Chiefs offense that has dealt with a multitude of injuries.
