Celtic flop hits four goals in one half during stunning 6-2 win

Brendan Rodgers signed Bayo in the January transfer window of 2019, although he was only used rarely before the Irishman left for Leicester the following month.

Neil Lennon employed the forward more during his stint, but he failed to impress before being loaned out to Toulouse and eventually transferred to Gent.

Bayo joined Watford in the summer of 2022, however after a few loan spells abroad, he was sold to Italian Serie A side Udinese this summer, before being loaned back to Watford for the rest of the 2024/25 campaign.

Vakoun Issouf Bayo, a former Celtic striker, scored four goals in the second half as Watford defeated Sheffield Wednesday 6-2 in the English Championship this weekend.

With his team leading 2-1, the Ivorian converted his team’s second penalty of the afternoon on 58 minutes, before scoring again on the 67th, 85th, and 88th minutes to secure three points on the road for Tom Cleverley’s side.
