The opening of the jewellery and gifting brand, Lisa Angel, and the Personal and Professional Learning Centre are among 5 changes to Suffolk this November.
An independent jewellery and gifting brand will be opening this November in Abbeygate Street, Bury St Edmunds.
From small beginnings the company began back in 2004 from a Norfolk home growing into a stall in Norwich’s Chantry Place and then to a shop on Norwich Lanes.
A new store was opened in Southwold earlier this year and was the first in Suffolk for the jewellery brand.
The new store will open on Saturday November 2 and will have a local cocktail company, Edmunds cocktails, as a pop up store in the shop for tasting.

2 – Opening of Lidl store
A new Lidl superstore is set to open towards the end of the month after work to fit it out is completed.
It is located on the Anglia Retail Park in Ipswich in the former premises of B&Q garden centre.
The opening of the third Lidl store in Ipswich is one of ten new stores which the company is opening in the run up to
Christmas.
One final touch that won’t be complete until next year is the installation of a number of charging points for electric
cars so people can charge their vehicles while they shop.
3 – Personal and Professional Learning Centre to open
The new Personal and Professional Learning Centre is expected to open in Haverhill High Street on Monday
November 4.
The centre is expected to boost adult learning and skills and got a £2 million capital investment from West Suffolk
Council.
Some of the subjects on offer include maths, English, digital and computer skills, business courses, creative arts and
a range of leisure learning activities such as floristry, dressmaking and Christmas crafts.
4 – Flannels opens doors in Ipswich
A luxury high end designer shop has officially opened its doors in Ipswich town centre in the former BHS in Butter
Market.
Flannels has taken up the majority of the ground floor of the building with work still ongoing for Sports Direct,
Game, Evans Cycles and USC next door.
In May, Flannels was voted by readers of the Ipswich Star as the most desired shop to open in Ipswich.
5 – BMC Cakery opening new bakery
BMC Cakery is set to open in the streets of Ipswich around the first or second week of November.
The bakery is set to open in Queens Way with renovation work still ongoing.
Rachell Halls has been running BMC Cakery since 2017 and has owned many stores in the town.
