A Rangers attacker is unlikely to play the full 90 minutes in any game until after the next international break, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

It would be wise to err on the side of caution because the injury expert claims that hamstring setbacks are prone to re-injury.

Before he prepares to play 90 minutes on a regular basis, it is anticipated that he will be gradually brought back in and maybe get games off the bench.

Brar, a sports scientist and physical therapy doctor, talked exclusively with Ibrox News about his predicament, saying: “I would expect him to be eased in since his confidence, rhythm, and fitness levels are quite sensitive.

He has been sidelined due to a hamstring injury, which is infamously delicate and prone to recurrence.

“For the first few games back, I don’t see him playing the full ninety minutes, and it might be more likely after the international break.”

Rabbi Matondo could make a difference for Rangers

With his lightning-fast speed, the Wales international can provide a goal-scoring threat on either wing as well as an option on the counterattack.

It goes without saying that Philippe Clement will miss him in the closing part of the season after he had a strong start, scoring two goals and providing as many assists in four league games.

He should be able to make an impact for the Gers in the games left this season once his injury problems are resolved.

In other Rangers news, a veteran player has resigned from the team on his own volition, according to sources.
