Talented player told to leave Rangers as soon as he can – Dump Ibrox career, and move elsewhere

Talented player told to leave Rangers as soon as he can – Dump Ibrox career, and move elsewhere.

Because Ianis Hagi was left out of the Europa League team by Philippe Clement, he was not part of Rangers’ 4-0 victory over FCSB on Thursday.

Before the European match at Ibrox, FCSB defender Mihai Popescu expressed his dissatisfaction with Hagi’s circumstances at Rangers.

For the Scottish team this season, the Romanian international has only made one appearance. Earlier this month, he helped Vaclav Cerny score in Rangers’ 2-0 victory over St. Johnstone.

This season, Philippe Clement has left the 26-year-old out of the squad. Hagi’s predicament has been discussed with Golazo.ro by Dumitru Dumitriu, who managed FCSB, AEK Athens, Romania [assistant], and other clubs.

Although the winger’s contract at Ibrox is set to expire in 2026, Dumitriu has urged his countryman to quit Rangers in order to further his career.

He will ultimately receive what he is due, in my opinion. He is a talented football player that can play for multiple European teams, thus he shouldn’t remain there. He should leave, in my opinion, but not on loan. He should be bought, used, and go forever, he declared.

Hagi did not do well at Deportivo Alavés, despite Rangers letting him spend the previous season on loan. Golazo.ro questioned the former manager on why a permanent transfer rather than a loan move would benefit Hagi.

In response, Dumitriu clarified: “A club’s purchase of you indicates their confidence in you. And Ianis requires that. He shoots hard and is a gifted playmaker who can pass with both feet. A talented football player, he possesses numerous attributes. He was unlucky to sustain the injury, though. We shouldn’t assume that they should give up now. No way.

The circumstances at Rangers have not delighted Hagi’s father, Gheorghe. He has made a lot of noise about it, and Dumitriu knows why.

“I believe that Gică’s defense of his child is reasonable. Most people would follow suit. Especially because he is positive Ianis has been wronged. Additionally, he stated that he is deserving of playing for the Scottish first team.

There’s been rumours of Galatasaray interest in the Rangers player and Dumitriu has backed him to move to Turkey.

“Yes, sure. Ianis doesn’t need to prove anything anymore. He needs to be at full strength and have confidence. When that happens, then he can play for any team in Europe. Not the top teams in the world, Manchester City, Real Madrid, but the second category, he can play without any problems,” Dumitriu said.

“Of course, expectations will be higher in Turkey, because people will compare him to his father, but he will manage.”
