Norwich City is looking for a bright future.

Smith and Wynn-Jones are Norwich fans, so despite previous criticism, there’s little doubt they always have the club’s best interests at heart. An international investment group constitutes a huge change for the Canaries, but it does not exclude progress. Even though Norwich has been in the Premier League for many years, they are not a club that spends lavishly, thus the new owners may provide more financial freedom.

Of course, the Attanasio group has been connected in the club for a few years, so they understand what they’re going into and believe they can assist return it to the top flight. It should be noted that they are inheriting a club in good financial standing, with a decent stadium and a large fan base. On the football front, Johannes Hoff Thorup is an intriguing young manager, and Norwich have a good group that is in contention for the play-offs this season, so they will believe promotion is a possibility.

Following that, Thorup has already stated that he has had fruitful discussions with Attanasio, so it is promising for Norwich that they look to be on the same page.
