So it’s Edinburgh derby week, with the Premiership’s bottom two facing off, which is not a sentence many supporters of either team would have expected to hear.
Hearts won 4-0 over St Mirren in new manager Neil Critchley’s debut game, moving them ahead of Hibs, who lost to Dundee United.
The struggling sides will now meet for the first time this season in what might be an epic game, but for very different reasons than we normally see in the capital rivalry.
In other news, Aberdeen and Dundee United will face off in a ‘New Firm’ rivalry. Both teams have enjoyed impressive beginnings to the season, with the Dons maintaining their undefeated streak against Celtic last weekend.
