Ipswich Town want to sign £200k-p/w ace in January with same agent as Delap
Ipswich Town are still interested in recruiting a £200,000-a-week player in January, who wishes to leave his current club.
Ipswich Town still searching for first Premier League win
The Tractor Boys and Kieran McKenna have yet to win a Premier League game in the 2024/25 season, after winning back-to-back promotions in previous years.
Ipswich has lost to Liverpool, Manchester City, and West Ham, while Aston Villa, Southampton, Brighton, and Fulham have all earned points. McKenna’s side is a point above the relegation zone after seven games, with a lot of summer arrivals still adjusting to life at Portman Road.
Forward Liam Delap has impressed in recent weeks, scoring his first goal for the club against Fulham, a brace against Aston Villa, and another in a loss to West Ham prior to the international break.
Delap, who joined Ipswich from Manchester City, has been praised by McKenna as the club’s best addition this
summer.”Liam has had an excellent start. He is a youthful striker who has had three loans in the Championship and
is still figuring his way around the game. “His body has improved significantly over the previous year, which I believe is vital for a forward player competing in
the Premier League and even the Championship. He is progressing well.
