Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers sat down for an exclusive interview with https://sportupdates.co.uk to discuss the team’s remarkable start to the season, as well as the challenges that lie ahead.

games coming up in only 23 days, he also gave some insight into how the team is handling the demanding fixture schedule. According to Rodgers, the team’s preparation during the preseason in the United States was one of the
most important elements in its success. The manager discussed how that time helped strengthen team cohesion and
gave time to concentrate on tactical underpinnings. Although victory is always the goal, Rodgers stressed the value of ongoing player development and his goal to raise each player’s performance level throughout the season.

Interviewer: “We have only lost once all season, and that was against the Champions League finalists from the previous year. To what extent are you happy with the team’s performance?
Brendan Rodgers:The team’s unity, spirit, and quality have been outstanding, and we’re looking to carry that momentum into the next set of games. We have seven matches in the next 23 days, which will be a busy time, but
we’re determined to keep things going. “Yeah, I’ve been absolutely delighted. As you said, we’ve played 11 games, won 10 and lost just once to a really strong opponent.”
Interviewer:Do you think the team’s successful preseason in the US is a contributing factor to the season’s bright start? How significant was that in establishing the campaign’s tone?
Brendan Rodgers: “The preseason is important for a number of reasons. It provides us with the chance to develop enduring bonds as a staff and as a team. It also lays the groundwork for the season by enabling us to concentrate
fully on the tactical aspects of the game. Beyond that, though, no matter how well you’re doing, progress never ends. Winning is important, but our main focus is always on helping players grow as individuals.
