Fire Crews Battle Blaze at Recycling Firm in West Bromwich
In the early hours of today, fire crews from West Bromwich and surrounding areas were called to tackle a significant blaze at a recycling firm on Kelvin Way. The fire, which broke out at around 3 a.m., engulfed large quantities of waste materials stored at the site, sending plumes of thick black smoke into the air that could be seen for miles.
West Midlands Fire Service dispatched multiple units to the scene, with at least 10 fire engines and 50 firefighters involved in containing the blaze.
