The PFA Brain Health Team will be at St James Park on Thursday, October 24th, from 10am to meet with former players and attend the Sporting Memories Club.
The team will be on hand to discuss their work and explain the education program they are giving to both EFL and WSL teams, as well as how they are assisting football families dealing with neurodegenerative diseases.
The PFA is advocating for a paradigm shift in football’s approach to the brain health of current and former professional footballers, with the goal of creating a positive brain health culture for all players and improving the quality of life for players suffering from neurodegenerative diseases.
Everyone is welcome, including ex-players!
