Celtic starlet monitored by Arsenal as Hoops face losing another academy talent

In the past, Celtic has lost some important academy players, and supporters have occasionally questioned the procedure.

Over the previous few years, the Hoops have had to bid farewell to players like Josh Adam, Barry Hepburn, and Liam Morrison as Premier League teams have swooped for their skills.

While Adam transferred to Manchester City, Vincent Angelini moved to Watford, and Ben Doak famously left for Liverpool, Morrison and Hepburn moved to Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.

Many others have moved on, and 67 Hail Hail recognises that with the major teams vying for Celts’ attention, they may be in danger of losing another one.

Celtic attacker Rocco di Giacomo is wanted by Arsenal

67 Hail Hail can exclusively disclose that Arsenal is closely monitoring Rocco di Giacomo, a dynamic wide winger who has experience with the Hoops’ academy teams in recent seasons and can also play in the number 10 position.

The Gunners have taken a closer look at the attacker despite the fact that the 15-year-old is not yet old enough to sign a professional contract in Scotland or England and would have to wait to do so.

By deploying their scouting staff to concentrate on Scottish prospects, the English powerhouses have already taken a risk.

Celtic was also interested in the talented full-back back in August, but it appears that he will play for the Gunners when he is eligible next summer as they continue their search for gems in the Scottish market.

In contrast, Di Giacomo has a lot of potential and is being attentively observed by the Premier League’s larger teams.

We previously informed you that, as part of the club’s restructuring, nine graduates had signed new contracts.
