VERY SAD!!! International Rangers’ absence explained as fears grow about new Ibrox injury crisis.

When it comes to international football, many Rangers fans simply want their star players to return to Ibrox injury-free. The Ibrox side already has enough injury problems to deal with without adding any more picked up while playing in the UEFA Nations League and elsewhere. The absence of a Rangers player from a recent international match has raised concerns about the club’s potential injury issues.

Ross McCausland misses Northern Ireland stalemate

Ross McCausland’s development continues at both the club and international levels with Rangers and Northern Ireland. “Rangers winger Ross McCausland has an injury niggle and will likely sit out the game in Hungary, although the Northern Ireland boss is confident he will be available for next week’s home game against Bulgaria.”

Rangers winger has ‘lot to offer’ Northern Ireland

Rangers fans may have hoped that Ross McCausland might have opportunities with Northern Ireland during the international break. The 21-year-old forward has yet to start for the Ulstermen, but he has made four appearances off the bench for Michael O’Neill’s side.

During the international break, Michael O’Neill praised Ross McCausland, stating that he had ‘a lot to give’ as he develops. “I think Ross is a player who impacts the game and has the capability to score as well,” O’Neill told ESPN. “This season, he has mostly played from the bench for Rangers. I am sure he wishes he could start more games, but there is competition for spots there.

“I believe Ross has a lot to give. He is still a young player who has had opportunities for us. When he came on against Luxembourg, he was unlucky not to score, and he also made a positive influence in Bulgaria. On a challenging pitch, he demonstrated exceptional ball skills. Ross’s growth will continue both at his club and after he leaves us.” Ross McCausland has made 11 appearances for Rangers this season, scoring twice, including a key second goal in a 2-0 Europa League victory over Malmo.
