Boyd praised the Celtic star on the Warm-Up YouTube show, despite his support for the Rangers.
When asked by broadcaster Gordon Duncan who has been the best player in Scotland so far this season, Boyd said without hesitation: “Nicolas Kuhn.”
The veteran striker went on to say, “He may have started slowly last season, but there were moments when you thought, ‘There might be something there.'” It was just bringing everything together, but this season, I believe he’s been fantastic.
“Look at the goals and assists. He is also taking part in the game. It’s not like you’re just expecting to get the ball to him and perform some magic. He works hard and is eager to assist Alistair Johnston.”

Throughout the upcoming season, the German will aim to reach double-digit goals and assists.
It’s now all about maintaining his consistency and continuing to expose defenders, even as they become more aware of his abilities in their second and third games against Celtic.
Rodgers needed a player to step up and replace Matt O’Riley’s direct goal contributions last season, which totalled 19 goals and 19 assists.
Although from a different perspective, Kuhn is well on his way to matching that kind of effect.
