La Liga reports Real Sociedad’s aggressive chanting against Antoine Griezmann.

La Liga has requested that the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) investigate reported insulting chants directed against Real Sociedad’s Antoine Griezmann.

Griezmann provided an early assist in Atletico Madrid’s 1-1 La Liga tie at San Sebastian, showcasing his talent against his former side.

Animosity toward Griezmann from La Real fans was reported by authorities at full time, following a stadium announcement to cease, with the La Liga delegate relaying the message.

According to Diario AS, a complaint has been filed with the RFEF and the Comisión against la Violencia (Spanish governmental agency against violence) about chanting from supporters in the Fondo Sur Bajo sector.

The report is part of a weekly presentation of information from La Liga to appropriate agencies, but Gameweek 8 saw several instances across the Spanish top flight.

If the RFEF judges the chanting were excessive, Real Sociedad may face a fine as punishment.
