Future of Theo Hernandez at Milan is uncertain

“No Milan negotiation, public opinion forced against him,” stated Theo Hernandez’s representative.

The agency representing Theo Hernandez discloses that there is “no negotiation” to prolong his contract with Milan, alleging that there is an attempt to “force public opinion” against him.

The left-back had a very unpleasant birthday last week as he watched a penalty saved in the 2-1 loss to Fiorentina and was then sent off for taunting the referee.

He was suspended for two Serie A games as a result, and there have been rumours that the talks to extend his current deal have run into difficulties.

But this evening, during an interview with the TeleLombardia show QSVS, his agent Manuel Garcia Quilon presented a completely different situation.

“There is no negotiation, we haven’t talked about anything for four months, since May-June,” said the agent.

“I was approached by the club, who enquired about our happiness in Milan and whether we intended to stay. After answering in the affirmative, there was no communication.

“The club hasn’t made us any offers,”

Additionally, Theo Hernandez is reportedly demanding a €8 million compensation each season in order to sign a contract, according to sources in the Italian media. Does it sound accurate?

In response, Quilon said, “Someone is putting this misinformation out there to turn public opinion against him.”

Future of Theo Hernandez at Milan is uncertain

The summer of 2019 saw the France international pay €22.8 million to Real Madrid, and he went on to become one of the world’s greatest left-backs.

Nevertheless, Theo Hernandez’s present contract with Milan expires in June 2026, so if negotiations come to a deadlock, he runs the possibility of becoming a free agent.

“Football is football; everything happens extremely fast. Things change daily in a thousand little ways. Theo’s primary goal, as far as I can tell today, is to stay at Milan, work out a deal, and play for the team for as long as possible, the agent continued.

What’s going to occur in a year? I have no idea. I truly don’t know, and I don’t want to lie to you about it. It won’t be a problem if they come to an agreement and he extends his contract.

What transpires if he doesn’t sign a new deal? The current perception is that Theo is content in Milan; but, I don’t want to lie and I’m not sure what may happen.
