Brandon Forbes is already making an impact with the Canaries’ U/21 squad.

Brandon Forbes scored his first goal for Norwich City after joining from Dundee United for £300,000 on deadline day.

Forbes, 18, unleashed a thunderous drive past Mathew Rowley as Norwich City’s U/21 team overcame Reading in Premier League 2 play.

Finlay Welch’s single run triggered a fantastic counter-attack, which culminated in this effort.

Forbes, a talented young player, made a name for himself during United’s Premier Sports Cup campaign with an impressive free-kick against Ayr United.

Evidently pleased by his improvement, the Canaries swooped in August, making an offer the Tangerines couldn’t refuse for a player in his final year of contract.

Forrest flames the home.

Jamie Forrest, a current United player, made his competitive debut for Scotland U/16s with a successful penalty kick against Ireland in the Victory Shield match on Tuesday.

Forrest, 15, came in as a second-half replacement at Broadwood and helped the Tartan Teens to a 1-1 draw in regulation time.

Scotland won the shootout 4-3, with Forrest scoring from 12 yards against visiting goalie Darragh Brunton.

The young Scots continue their campaign with games against Northern Ireland on Thursday and Wales on Sunday.
